shell.32.dll by
Mike
are you sure its shell.32.dll and not shell32.dll?
shell32.dll is in C:\windows\system32.
-----Original Message-----
I have run a search on the internet, the Google archives
and the MS
Knowledge Base and there is no report of an error message
reading: "please
check file SHELL.32.DLL"

How about taking the HD out and installing it in another

I created a 2nd user account at one time and then deleted
it. Now, the primary (original) user account still shows
in the Start Menu although there is only the one account

the folder window in windows explorer is not visible and
there is no way to make it visible again. If I click on
view / explorer / folder (I don't know if the names are
correct, as I only use a german win98) nothing happens. But
if I click on history the visited Urls appear in the left
window.

[OT] looking for shell app (3rd party...) by
Jacek Bogucki
Hi.
Sorry for posting here but I couldn't find more appropriate group.
I remember using an app that auto-resized Explorer windows after
double-clicking its lower-right corner.
Can anybody remember its name?or anything that would give me similar
functionality?
TIA!
Jacek Bo.
