This problem is on a XP host direct wire network to a win98fe client. That's
the reason for the crosspost. Anywho...
The network works fine. The ISC works pretty fine. The only problem occurs
when there is no internet (dialup) connection on either machine. Outlook
Express is open on the win98...

I've been having problems getting an XP/win98 dual boot machine joining
my network wirelessly.
See "Wireless connected - can't ping" on ms.public.win98.networking

Can anyone tell me how to check that a Win98/ME PC is fitted with networking
hardware and working?
I know how to do this in XP - by clicking on task manager and going to the
network tab. Easy!
Does 98 or ME have something similar? Its been a while since Ive used it.

How can I block a Win98 computer (using IE6) to only allow access to certain
sites? This is a computer we setup in our customer lobby for billing and
don't want them to access anything other than our Website.
