I am running a Windows 98 machine on a domain. I have an application that
sits on a windows 2000 server. I can run the application from an icon on my
desktop, but when the application comes up, I can't access the files.

trying to access from an apple laptop for file and printer sharing. I am
unable to access the 98se PC. I have no username or password necessary for
logging into the 98se PC.

On my home network I can access my Windows XP computer
through another computer with Windows XP, but whenever I
tried to access it through Windows 98 it asks for a
password for \\computername\IPC$
How can I stop this from happening?

How do I get out of standby mode. Tried restarting in
safe mode and gives error message "vsbackup restart the

mixed set of win98 and xp pro machines allready existing. The old NT4.0 PDC
is being eliminated completely, however they still wish to keep the win98
