my computer obviously has a virus and it attacked the cdrom drive. i was going to restore it to factory settings with my cd but it wont read it. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?!?!

If I am able to actually find a copy of the full version of windows 98 and install it on my old computer's clean hard drive, will I be able to get all of the drivers I need to keep my computer running? If so, where can I obtain them? Any thoughts?

Windows 98SE When I run msconfig and click on the Autoexec.bat tab there is nothing there. Just a blank white window. All the rest are just fine. Some people tell me they don't even have that tab in Win98se. Suggestions are highly appreciated.
