When I start up I get an error message "Cannot import sys.reg: Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system error". Yet my system seems to work o.k. This is doing my head in not knowing what's wrong. Anyone with HELP? Marcus.

My friend gets an error message on his HP computer using Windows ME. It looks like this "Can't find M:\Content\Win9x\WinME\WMEsetRP.inf". The M drive is his CD burner. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this message? Thanks! Bob M.

YAY! I finally got that computer fixed. I had to have someone with more knowledge than me attack it and it only took him a couple of seconds to manually install the drivers for the video. They were the correct drivers after all. Thanks for all the help. Rose

Following a 'crash' and using recovery disc (lost all progs!) I managed to get things going again. Two problems - 1. Graphics are very poor and 2. The screen view size is too large - How do I adjust the size viewed to fit my screen? Would be grateful for any advice.

When I start up Windows ME I can see all my desktop Icons, then a folder appears and covers them up. I can still see some of the icon around the folder. The basic system icons (Explorer,My computer, etc) are not covered. Any ideas?
