Running Windows98 second edition: When I run scanreg/fix from DOS it freezes with 1% on System.dat. I've removed just about every app that I don't really need running RegSupreme to remove anything left behind. My registry size, System.dat, is now at 8.3 Meg and User.dat is around 1.8 Meg....

Well my computer is a 486 system. Here is a list: CPU(prosseser) is a 486DX. ??MHz Only has ISA SLOTS. NO IDE connections. NO RAM memory at this time... BIOS: AWARD And have a card that has FDD & HDD conections.and the card is an ISA card. And last my sound card has a CD-ROM connection.
