I have an HP Pavilion running win98 and a Dell Dimension running XP home
edition. Both are connected via Linksys Ethernet Network.
I have no problem viewing or accessing files from the HP to the Dell (which
is designate as the master), on the HP I can see the Dell on the network
along with the HP....

A working station Win98 on network is connected well to the server, but not
on Internet? Ping on the addresses network 192.xxx... without problem.
But ping www.yahoo.com gives answer "Sending of a request...yahoo and Withdrawal period exceeded 4 times!

PC 1 is Win XP Pc 2 is Win 98se
Both PC's can access the internet via router.
I can see the win 98se PC and access its files from the XP Pc
BUT when I choose network places on the desktop of the 98se PC it does not
