Network provider question by
Greg B
hi there,
I was wondering whether there was any information apart
from Windows 98 DDK, on how to implement a network
provider DLL for Windows 98. In particular, I'm after
detailed explanation of the API routines (such as NPLogon,
NPLogoff, NPGetCapts etc). I've had a look at the DDK, and
while...

unable to make change to document across network by
fishhead
We have a WIN98SE based P4 that has decided it will not
let anyone "save as" or "rename" any MS Office doc or XLS
or PNG file. It WILL allow free access to any WORDPAD or
Notepad file though including resave, rename, etc.
This is actually the second machine I have seen this
happen with.
