MSGSRV32 fault while trying to add tcp/ip by

Just installed a new ethernet card and everytime I try to
add the TCP/IP protocol it keeps giving me the following

Whenever I select my network printer (from within Word) I
instantly see a message that says There is insufficient
memory. Save the document now.
Word is the only program running, and a small text file is
open. I know that there is no memory problem plus the
file won't print.
