I have windows media player 9 and two days ago the audio stopped working all together. this includes mp3's, cd's,and WINDOWS\MEDIA sounds. I checked the speakers and they work perfectly. I have no idea how to fix this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how to figure out the other programs that are using sound and turn them off. This is the error message I'm getting anyway. Sound works in all my programs except one and I also tried using media player and rec'd the same error message. Help! I have Quicktime installed.
