Can't bring up Control Panel items by
Robert
Hello,
I'm having a funny problem with the control panel on a win98 machine. I
can't get any of the items in the control panel to start. Double-clicking
on "Network", for example, produces no result, apart from a brief flicker.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Robert

Mapped Drives Issues by
maitakeboy
I have a W98se machine on a W2K domain with DNS and WINS, which all of a
sudden stopped being able to connect to one of the users mapped drives. I
thought it might be a naming issue, since the shared folder had a two word
name, so I created share names with both an underscore and hyphen between...

I can't get ICS running on it. All was OK when PC B was on 98SE.
The practicallynetworked site doesn't seem to cover this particular

Computer suddenly drops off network! by

An odd problem: I have a 3-computer home network, a laptop and a
desktop, both with Win 98, and a desktop with Linux (using Samba for Win
