point to our gateway to give him internet access.
The problem is that all the ip address fields (for host

Garry Douglas
I've recently networked my old Deskpro running W98SE and a new Presario

matching user accounts on both and I can access the sharable drives from
either machine as expected.
However, my printer (an Epson 1200...

To spool or not to spool by
Garry Douglas
There is an option to print direct to the printer or spool the output on the
driver properties for my shared Epson 1200 printer.
What setting should I select on (a) a remote PC and (b) the PC which the
printer is attached to?
This is one I can't find an answer for on Carey's site :-)
Thanks

workstations including win98,winme.
It's peer to peer only with TCP/IP as the main protocol.
All workstations need to share their resources. I believe
Appletalk

mistaken in a
peer...

ICS and STATIC IP address. by
Kenny S
In order for ICS to work the HOST must have a STATIC IP address...
On the Windows98 SE ICS wizzard the ip address of 192.168.0.1 and
mask 255.255.255.0 is given automatically.
However that IP address is reserved from another machine on the network that
