Portion magic ruined external drive by 30t5
I was using partition magic to create a new partition on an external drive. While rebooting the computer froze and I had to unplug it. My external drive is "corruptable or unreadable." Portition magic says error 7 "operation canceled by user" occured. How do I fix this. Can I?

fdisk shows one size and my computer shows another by icccapital
I ran a partition program that I thought didn't work, and then I installed 98se. Now my computer shows 2.2 gigs of total space and fdisk shows 3 gigs in the partition. Is there a way to recover these gigs in my computer?
