I have machine with win98 OS (German language edition), and because am in Australia have had to update to Win98SE + critical update using English updates. I now can't get the Start menu to display programs, as German for "program" is "programme". Any suggestions much appreciated. Cheers.

When I try to update online the operating system, I get as far as "Windows is looking for available updates" 0% complete and no further. I think that I must have disabled something like "Windows Scripting Host" while doing an update. How can I re-enable Windows updates online? Thanks, CMA

I have a 98-SE updates disk I beleave used to upgrade 98 to 98-SE. But from checking it out it seems to have everything that my full version has. Can this be used to load 98-SE to a blank HD if I can get my 98(disk is cracked) to be reconized as a quallifying OS. Thanks Greg
