intermittant connections by
Ace
I am having problems with WinME connecting to a Pipeline
85 Router. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't.
Re-starting the computer doesn't seem to make any
difference, and re-setting the router doesn't seem to make
any difference, either. A laptop running XP never has any
problem...

Networking an "ME" laptop, and an "XP" desktop. by
Tim
This may sound facetious, but it isn't. After spending about three days
where my XP desktop could see, but not access, my ME laptop, and my ME
laptop would, 90% of the time, refuse to browse the network at all (and 10%
of the time, browse the network but not actually see the desktop); and...

frustration I have finally got my ME laptop and XP
desktop connected (yay!). But transfer of files is
erratic. Some have gone across OK, but most are not
copying over when I put them in a shared folder - I get
long pause, then "Cannot create or...
