What is MCINFO.exe do? by

Hi,
When I first boot-up the computer I get MCINFO.EXE
ERROR. If you experience any problems try re-booting the computer.
Is this part of windows?I searched Microsoft search.But no results.

When moving files from one drive to my "C" drive, I got a message that there
was not enough room. Did I want to run disk cleanup. I clicked yes and then
got the blue screen. The error wouldn't clear so I had to restart my

Yahoo Mail failure by

I deleted some programs :-(. Now when I try to reply to a Yahoo email
nothing happens. Also, when I click on a shortcut to an Internet site
login screen c:\windows\system opens up.

CD-Rom drive by

My cd-rom drive has decided to stop working, I can't load any software on it
or play any cd music through it. any suggestions apart from throwing it off a

explore a disk inserted in either drive
This is not a file association problem.

I am a Windows ME user (still). I recently am unsuccessful in being able to
search for anything using this function...you know, start, search, files or
folders.
It does not appear to be searching at all.
Any suggestions?

I did a google search and read that it was related to compaq message server
and is not needed.
Can I uncheck it in msconfig \ startup?

Is there any tool/utility that I can run to determine
how much resources (percent of kernel) a particular process
is using?? I run system monitor and it just gives
a percentage of the total (100%) but doesnt identify
how much each running process is using..
Can anybody help??
