Eliminate network password prompt? by

New hard drive (with 98 SE) installed after crash. Always get Network
password promt during boot. Using only one computer with one user at home
and often surfing the internet. Saw a post a while back about disabling
network driver for a stand alone PC. Tried that but lost internet
connection. Oops....

I just want to thank Carey Holzman for his netfixes web
site. I was having problems with my Windows 98 network,
sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. After
following the instructions on how to reset your network
configuration and I've had no problems since.

the firewall is not setup as far as i can tell
not sure of trusted zone
the ip address and subnet of the lan is 192.168.0.1 and subnet 255.255.255.0
the dhcp starts at 192.168.0.100 and ends at 192.016.0.199
the address on one computer is 192.168.0.100 and the other 192.168.0.101

Home Network with Win 98, Win ME and Win XP by
What exactly do I need to do to set up a home network for
all three OSs? I am routing it through a Linksys router. I
tried following the directions in the Help menu, but it
didn't seem to work.
