Hello, I have a Windows ME 2000 PC that I purchased about 4 years ago. The OS crashed often, but so far I've used the PC occasionally so it hasn't been a problem. Now, I'm considering using it for remote access to the network at the office. They use VPN.

For the last cpl of days my screen turns grey, I can hit ctrl, alt,delete a cpl of times and it will reboot,altho annoying to have to do this. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks TB

If the Thumbnail view is missing in the pull-down box of the Standard Buttons toolbar in Windows Explorer, this seems to fix it:- Start/Run and then type:- "regsvr32 /i shell32.dll" (without the quotes).
