Scandisk keeps restarting, Defrag gives the error message

Completely wiping out computer? by
I want to delete absolutely everything off of my computer
and start over as if it were new. I've been told that
there are instructions to do this in the help section on
my Windows ME, but I can't find them. Does anyone know
where to find these instructions at? Thanks.

after installing hotburn pro, I get an icon on my task bar
that says unplug remove hardware. hardware that comes up

By hitting the OK button twice, I can usually bring the
computer up, but often cannot shut it down properly and

Hotfixes UPDQ823559 by
Prior to 4/21/04 downloaded this fix and no problem.
Have run Belarc Advisor and indicates it should be
reinstalled, but I can't seem to find the old one to
delete so the update will note its absence and reinstall,
I am experiencing a problem and not sure if this is the
