I'm running 98 with IE 4 but cant connect properly on the internet using an ethernet connection to a DSL router. The MSN homepage begins to load, then stops. Eventually I get a "performed illegal function" message and IE crashes. Do I need to install a different version of IE?

I know this happened a long time ago, but tell me, what do you think? If you didn't know, US v. MS was a case about Microsoft illegaly bundling IE with Windows. So what do you think?
