I have installed a cd dvd rom drive on my compaq and it will not play dvds what is the problem?

I had to re-format my hard drive and loaded the OEM software back on. When I try to connect my camera it won't connect. It tells me it can not find the file USBNTMAP.sys file. Is there somewhere at Microsoft I can download his file? Please HELP!!!!!!
