TechnolegCymru
I'm customising windows 98 desktops using poledit. Is there any way to hide
the application, history, cookies folders etc that it creates in the home
directory of each user that logs into the server.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Program list in Task Manager - Win 2000 by
Winders 2000
Hello,
I know this is a 98 newsgroup but can't find one for 2000. If not appropriate here, is there another newsgroup where I should post this?
For anyone familiar with Win2000... I can't hear any flash videos online. MP3, etc., online are fine, and no problem with any audio files on my...

I am trying to install a Linksys wireless PCI adapter
(WMP54G). Everything seems to install fine until I reboot
to finish installing. On reboot I get a Windows

Public IP address determination by

My mom's Win98 SE computer is connected directly (no router, hub, or switch)

Puzzle card? by
[email protected]
I have a Thinkpad 770E with Win98SE with a semi-working LAN. I've been
unable to get anything going with a peer to peer setup. As an interim
method of transferring files I managed to get an FTP program talking to
a small FTP server on my PC. I guess that means it's talking in TCP/IP.
The card I...
