Bios vs Control panel by bg
In the bios, UDMA can be set to auto/off/etc for each device on each channel. In the control panel, a DMA checkbox will appear for some devices and not others. I assume some devices do not support DMA. What is the difference? Does one of these settings over ride the other? bg

Hello, I'm running win98se with a keyboard that doesn't have either a "sleep" or "wake up" key. Is there any way to program some other existing combination of keys (e.g. ctrl-alt-s) to invoke power management System Standby? Thanks for any suggestions. --
