Hi all, I am trying to install win98 on my daughters notepad, she did have 2000 in it before, but it died. When the notepad starts to format the hard drive, it gets 51% done then hangs.... Is there anything I am doing wrongly, all I do is turn it on and tell it to load from the D:\ drive !!

Hi have a prob with 98 install. I created my partition and formatted it in FAT 32 then booted from boot disk and started the CD installation. After performing the registry integrity scanning it says windows needs 7 million bytes to install. The partition I created with fdisk is 6000 MB. Any ideas?
