I've updated Win 98 to ME on a IBM. When I turn the machine on I get a notification of no active desktop and no modem. In order to get it to work I usually have to restore back to a certain date. Can anyone offer any suggestion? Thanks.

I am trying to use a Philips Key Digital PLayer through a USB port and when I plug it in, my computer hungs up until I unplug the Player. So I can't use MusicMatch to download files onto the PLayer. Any body know how to obtain a fix. Thanks

I now no longer get the unplug USB device window when I attach a USB storage device to my computer (camera/flashdrive). It used to work and seems to have gone since I suffered a virus attack. I can not find any way of launching the dialog box in the control panel either.

I am also finding out that I cannot print anything from WordPad. I tried System Restore and it will only go about a third of the way before stopping. I downloaded and ran Stinger (I have been reading some of the other posts) and nothing was found.
