MSTCP by
bilbod
Received a warning that Norton could not scan email because of a network
setting. They suggest looking at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ENUM\Network\MSTCP.
The only entry there is "Default" with "no value set". Should there be a
value set there?

ME not (always) detecting my broadband modem by
BlueVinney
When I boot (or reboot) my usb ADSL modem is often not recognised. This means
that my ability to access broadband is purely random. This happens whether I
have made any software changes or not. I can't find any correlation between
any actions and the ability to connect.
There is only one area that...

IE fails to find URLs after a minute by
sunslight
OS: Win98SE; IE6 Sp1 (latest)
Problem:
Last night I went to an airline site, registered there, my system
froze, had to do a hard shutdown.
I rebooted, ran scandisk, scanreg, cleaned all temp folders/files, including
index,
loaded on a new program from that site, the system went down again.
