Registry settings to detect DHCP and DNS configuration by [email protected]
Does anyone know the registry paths to determine if DHCP is enabled on a Windows 9x box, and check the DNS configuration settings? Is there also a way to check the DNS configuration history on a Win 9x box? - Thank you.

unable to make change to document across network by fishhead
We have a WIN98SE based P4 that has decided it will not let anyone "save as" or "rename" any MS Office doc or XLS or PNG file. It WILL allow free access to any WORDPAD or Notepad file though including resave, rename, etc. This is actually the second machine I have seen this happen with.
