I am a ex ME user I now know what it is like to have NO PROBLEMS with my computer!!!! in April I installed XP Pro edition and I have not had not even 1 problem,not even 1 error on my computer(SINCE APRIL!!!!!) XP Pro IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!

I am rebuilding an old computer (pentium III - 1000) for my mother - limited use, mostly email and MS Word use. I have both ME and 98 available to install for her. I know 98 was more stable but wouldn't you recommend ME since it is newer? Just wanted a few opinions.

Each time I receive a email with an attachment. When click on the clip pen and click attachment. The attachment will not open. Help to understand what I'm doing that is wrong. How do I correct this problem. Please Help!

I received a CD from a friend, put it in the drive, and windows ME tells me cannot find autorun.exe. I tried renaming autorun.inf like someone suggested but Windows told me it is not valid. Is there any program I can download to take care of this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim.
