I am trying to install 98 onto a new newly formmated 2.0 GB hard drive. When I run Setup from the cd I get an error message telling me, 98 needs 205 megabytes to install. It's been sometime since I have installed 98 does it need this much? Can I install a scaled down version?

My HD is failing. It will not boot. When I try to reinstall WIN 98 it says that the FAT is damaged. How can I fix the FAT to reinstall WIN 98, clone the HD to a new HD and not loose my data?
