new user, i installed win98 lost all sound,also volume control on taskbar.when i go to my computer multimedia icon audio tab playback and recorder is not active.all windows troubleshooters open i ansewer first question click next window goes blank. can anyone help me resolve this problem? thanks...

Hi folks, I'm having a big trouble with the sound in my machine - it's gone after I re-installed Windows 98. In the Device Manager I see the following written about the "PCI Multimedia Audio Device Properties": "The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28). ".
