Getting "Disk Full" error with plenty of space left by

Using Win98SE. When trying to copy a 1MB file from h: to e:, I get an
"insufficient disk space" message. There is 350MB free on e: and 250MB free
on h: In case it matters, c: has 130MB free; all programs run on drive c:
The SWP file and all internet temp memory hog files, etc., are located...

Removing An App From Startup? by

I have tried removing it from the start-up using msconfig but it won't
budge - any suggestions?

Cannot open Excel by

Running Windows 98 with Office Professional 97. Possibly got bugged, can run
Word, Sage accounts and payroll, internet etc but cannot open Excel, just
sits there with the hourglass and if I try to quit I have am "out of
resources" and have to switch off and start again.

Unreliable Disconnect by

Hello Guys,
I am using Task Scheduler to disconnect my PC from the Internet when I am
away from my desk by using it to execute a batch file "rundll32
iedkcs32.dll,CloseRASConnections".
This works 95% of the time but occasionally it fails and Windows reports, in
a white window, that it cannot run...

Second HDD is 40 GB with extended partitions
D: 20GB Primary
E: 10GB logical

Strange Windows 98SE behavior by

Defragging always seemed to change the file attributes on my computer.
I'd have to go in and manually restore the View attributes to "View as
Webpage" and "Details." Annoying, but I figured that was Win98.
