Can I install XP PRO PLUS on a machine that has ME already on it without any conflicts? ME is not compatible with a internet software package I use professionally.

Today when I tured on my computer and went to start then my documents it came up with this error. Explorer has caused an error in Shell 32. DLL. I restarted the computer 3 times, each time the same thing. I could however could get into my documents by going though the desk top.
