I had two win98 computers connected via a crossover cable with no
problems.
I've just replaced one win98 computer with an XP.
Now the win98 can access the XP ok.
However the XP sees the win98 but in trying to access it the following

I can't get ICS running on it. All was OK when PC B was on 98SE.
