I've lost the use of about an inch at the bottom of my screen. This is both on my desktop and all applications. I would so appreciate some help with this....as I've tried everything I know....which is not alot. I've read the other posts on this board...but nothing is helping.

Recently I very frequently have a situation where clicking (left or right) on the desktop icons does nothing - the system acts as if they aren't there. If I reboot, then everything is ok for a while, but then the problem reoccurs. Any ideas? Thanks.

I KNOW this sounds stupid, but when they replaced my mother-board, somehow one of my favorite '98 theme/screensavers was lost.
