I have a customer running Windows 98SE. He was getting an error message
related to MSHTML.DLL when starting his computer. I was able to re-register
MSHTML.DLL and reinstall Internet Explorer to remove the error messages.
Now, I'm trying to configure the computer to get back on the network, but...

Drive letters on a workgroup by
Stephen Ford
I've just set up a few PCs on a office workgroup (win 98se and XP) and have
stumbled (tripped!)
over the problem of sharing data and how to set up a coherent set of drive
lettes across all PCs.
The problem is how to set up workgroup PCs so that one shares its data (and
uses it); the others use the...

NET USE vs (start-run \\server\shared) by

Hello,
I need to use NET USE command as part of a batch file. My problem is NET USE

NET USE does run without any error when the remote resource is actually not

usb wireless adapter with 98 SE by
Joseph
Could anyone tell me if it is possible to use a usb wireless adapter with my
laptop that is running Windows 98 (first edition)? I have seen that many
will work with 98 SE, but I would like to avoid buying 98 SE if I can.
Thanks!

Can I apply Win98SE on Win98 by
Laphan
Hi All
I know this might sound a weird query, but I've never had to do it.
Friends of family have Win98 machine, but its the 1st edition not the 2nd.
Wondered if it was possible to download Win98 SE as a sort of update and
basically run it to apply it.
Can it be that easy?

All computers (XP and 98se) have been working fine, but when I took out a 98
computer that hadn't been used for a while, it would not connect to the
internet. It sees all the others in Network Neighbourhood, and shares...
