Disabling the Logon for Microsoft Networking by

I am using an old Windows 98 PC as a printer server for my home LAN.
Cold boots and restarts require me to enter my Microsoft Networking Logon
Password.
Is there any way to disable (or bypass) this feature such that when the PC
starts or restarts no manual input is needed before the desktop comes...

I have two pc's linked together using BT voyager wireless network adapters
running windows 98.
I have checked and double checked all settings and reinstalled both adapters
but for some reason on the second pc when I click on Network Neiboirhood
there is no longer any workgroup and a message appears...

for years. Now, win98 machine cannot see shared printer on a w2k pc. It see's
all shared forders OK. The printer shows up on the other w2k pc fine. ???
