Outlook Express 6 Question by kraut
Am running Windows 98se with Outlook Express 6 and was wondering how to make it my default mail program?? I have been using a different mail program but it has become so bloated with things I never use I figured I would go back and give OE 6 a try. Thanks much.

Finepix software by [email protected]
I just got a Finepix S5100 (xD 16mb card) and installed the software package on my Thinkpad with W98SE. Normally when trying to start the viewer it tells me it can't start because of a missing DDRAW.DLL and says there is no USB attached. There are DDRAW.DLLs all over the place and attaching the...

asdf.exe???? by Destry Jones
Hi guys, I have found an executable on C:/ which I do not recognise (not unusual) but a quick google seems to produce rather doubtful results - some forums say it is a Trojan but don't seem very sure about it. I would delete it but I seem to remember deleting something quite harmless some years...

remove viruses/worms/adware/other junk from computer by bookworm656
I have a computer (the same one from my other question that I'm trying to get files off of) that will barely run right now. I'm sure it's because there is so much junk from things like viruses and worms and adware and I don't know what else on it. Right now, it won't start up properly in normal...

Hello, Where does Windows 98, 98 SE, and Me store their country/region and language datas in their registries? I am not having luck in determining what keys have these information. At first, I thought it was HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\ with Locale, but I don't think this it....

Windows Explorer - Windows 98 SE by David
Recently, I haven't been able to use Windows Explorer. Internal routines (like "browse") which rely on Explorer don't work, either. I can launch most programs, if they have a short-cut on my desktop. But, if they're not there, I can't get at them through Windows Explorer. Recently, my system...

Hello everybody, is there any FREE software to add a WinNT-style logon window to Windows 98 SE? Also, I need a free disinstaller, and a free software to send faxes using a Conexant internal COM3 modem (I don't want to use that included in Windows 98 CD).
