[email protected]

seems there's just too much stuff that dont work in 98 anymore. I
just bought another (used) computer with XP installed, and will keep
my Win98 computer as it is. That way I can use either one. The old
one was too slow for XP...

downloading the latest two security updates? (KB867282 & KB891781)
For the previous update, I lost Help Troubleshooter, but managed to bring it
back...

Daylight Saving Time Adjustment by
ms
Back in 2007, when Gary Terhune was active here, I installed the
"Grystmill Unofficial Time Zones Update" for W98. At the time it seemed OK,
but I've noticed, and particularly this recent DST adjustment, I have to
adjust the time manually, and no longer on cold boot get the usual windows...

A Firewall for Win 98SE? by
RobF[_2_]
Please recommend one.
Also, any advice on how to remove Zone Alarm v.6.0...? It's in my backup
Win 98. Don't use it often so I missed the warnings about that version
becoming unsupported.
I was advised in another group to get "Perfect Uninstaller". It won't
install. Error messages.
A good site...
