Cannot connect to cable modem with Widows 98. by

I have a laptop running windows 98 that will not connect to the cable modem.
When I use my other laptop running XP it works just fine but not with the
laptop using 98. Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks.

I searched on the Internet and I found the following command:

I disconnected my WIN/98 PC from the network and can no longer reconnect. I
can not connect to the LAN or Internet.
I can ping myself but no other IP addresses on the network.
My ethernet connection is good. My hub liggts indicate the PC is connected.
I tried deleting client for Microsoft...

Windows 98 SE / NT 4.0 Server logon problem by

I have 2 windows 98 se computers that will not logon to my nt 4.0 server. I
get the following message "The domain password you supplied is not correct,
or access to your logon server has been denied."
From the server I can access the local "c" drive on the affected machines.

Printing XP to 98SE by

I've had all sorts of probloems printing from an XP on a home network to a
printer connected to a 98SE.
When it prints it is very slow. More often than not, after printing
something I have to shut down Word 2002, and reload it before I can print
again. Also a whole load of .tmp files pile up...
