When I conenct the audio cable from my CD-ROM to my sound card (ISA PnP) Win98SE won't detect my soundcard. I unplug the audio cable, Win98SE and my BIOS detect it fine. The cable is fitted in the right way; it has plastic guiding stuff on both the CD-ROM and the soundcard.
