Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of thr little arrows on shortcut folders?

I can't see thumbnails, or any of my picture files. I read up some of the KB info and deleted my shimgvw.dll key. But having typed in the reserv32 thing.. it just comes up with an error - LoadLibrary or something. What have I done? Oh God, what have I done?? Help!! Thanks in advance.

The screensaver won't work, Just a blank screen. Everything else in display runs. Whaen you set a screensaver and hit preview, it runs. Then hit apply. But it won't work.
