A friend of mine has Win 98, but cannot get the CD to autorun. What does she need to do to make it run when a disk is inserted? TIA

I have what I believe is a retail upgrade disk for 98 to 98se. However, the OS is not recognizing/reporting that the current os is second edition. some of my programs will not run without the SE version. Anyone seen this before? any easy fixes? thanks

windows was playing up so i created start up disk and formated c drive, when i try to reinstall win 98se from my oem cd, during setup i get to 19% then error#65 you have interrupted set up. cd is clean scratch free. any ideas?

I just did a clean reinstall of WIN98-SE. Every time I boot up now, I get an error message: "Windows could not find file 'vnetbios.vxd". Does anyone know how I can extract that file from the WIN98-SE CD and where to put it on the HD? Thanks, CMA
