NetMeeting under Win98 can't call Microsoft Servers by

Cannot see shared printer on w2k box by
BOB
Small p2p net, 2- w2k and 1- win98 boxes. Printer is attatched to a w2k box.
2nd w2k box see's and accesses files on all boxes, and uses the shared
printer fine.
Win98 box see's and accesses files on all boxes, BUT does not see the shared
printer. printer is named HP 980
Any ideas ??

Upgrading JUST USB on Win 98 to Win 98 SE's... by

I have a W98 laptop that is not playing well w/ a wifi USB adapter.
Is it possible / advisable to use a Win 98 SE disc to upgrade just the
USB to the improved USB available on W98 SE (in other words, I'd just
use the right CABS in the SE disc to be the source of the driver
upgrade).

Internet Download Speed Problem by

I have been able to achieve almost 5MB download speed with RoadRunner on
each of my home computers. However, I just acquired a Gateway E-4200
computer for a friend, and in the process of cleaning it up and updating

I recently had to re-install Win98se after a complete hard drive
meltdown. New hard drive. Was networking through a netgear WG121
wirless adapter.
Long story short, I loaded the drivers for the wireless adapter.
I see the signal fine, but can't connect to the internet.
I am running 2 xp machines...

I'm customising windows 98 desktops using poledit. Is there any way to hide
the application, history, cookies folders etc that it creates in the home
directory of each user that logs into the server.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
