How to disable autochk by xplorer
Lately, autochk always runs during startup, and with the "thorough" option. I am sure that my disk is fine and is shut down properly. How do I fix this please? I only need autochk after a bad shutdown or impending disk failure. Thanks in advance. Xplorer

Scan/Defrag by KB
I've been using these in safe mode as this is the only way they will complete. I've read that it's best to do using a 'clean DOS boot'. Could someone explain, in simple step by step instructions, how I can accomplish this? Really, I need the 'guided tour' on this. Appreciate the help.
