hi,
Merry Xmas to u all. I downloaded and installed Windows Media Player for
Win98. I got the BSOD (blue screen of death) during or rather at the very
end of the installation process, but when I restarted I found to my surprise
that the media player worked ok. The only discrepancy I have noticed...

BIG Problem by

I installed the Unofficial Windows 98 patches.
Now the computer does not go into Windows, not normal nor Safe Mode. I get a
fatal exception error at 0187 (or (0167):BFF9E0BF.
I can also sometimes see an error in VXD VWIN32(05).
Can someone help me get the computer to work again?
I couldn't...

Need help !! I can not update my windows 98. When I try I
get an error #(0X800c0005)I checked it out on Microsoft
and can not type in "regsvr32 Softpub'dll" and go to the
second command that needs to be typed in. I get another
error saying "bad file name" What can be wrong???

My hard drive is currently partition. When installing XP, if I leave the
current partition the way it is, XP is on a separate drive from 98. How do I
